Footage taken at the crash scene shows a car atop a badly damaged car — the latter also hit at the rear by container truck.
No casualty reported during an overnight multiple accident on Friday September 8th that involves 3 vehicles on the Pen cinema flyover bridge descending Agip inward Agege Nitel.
According to traffic report posted to the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) facebook page on Saturday, its officials and police officers were on ground to manage the traffic situation while LASEMA Response Unit (LRU) were contacted for vehicle recovery and evacuation please.
“Oba Ogunji on the bridge before the scene as been cordoned off, while traffic has been re-directed towards Okekoto to Total for the motorists to continue their journey as an alternative route.”
“Our Officers on ground with the Police officers from Elere division to manage the traffic situation. LRU has contacted for recovery and evacuation please.”
While LASTMA didn’t say anything about the cause of the accident, footage taken at the crash scene shows a car atop a badly damaged car — the latter which was also hit at the rear by a 40ft container truck.
