Moment firefighters used a crane to pull out a Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUV from murky water.

It’s unclear what led to the crash, but its likely the car ended up in a river after its driver lost control of the G63.

While this accident suggest that the G-Class will be declared a total loss, this SUV could live another life in a used car markets like Nigeria.





Trending footage shared shows the moment firefighters used a heavy-duty crane truck to pull out a totally submerged Mercedes-Benz G-Class (G63), popularly called the G-Wagon, from murky water.

Right after the totally submerged luxury truck was pulled out of the water and placed on the bank, the rescue team and the onlookers were seen applauding the successful late-night rescue operation.

It’s unclear what led to this expensive car crash, but its likely the car ended up in a river after its driver lost control of the G63, which is a high-performance variant of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class.

What’s next for this Mercedes-Benz G-Class?

While this accident suggest that the Mercedes-Benz G-Class will be declared a total loss, this boxy SUV could live another life in a used car markets like Nigeria, where few of its parts can also start another life in another vehicle.

Powering the Mercedes-AMG G63 is a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine, which produces 577 horsepower and allows the boxy SUV to 60 miles per hour in 4.4 seconds, and a limited top speed of 137 miles per hour.
