Since the badly damaged hypercar reached Copart auction, the 1-of-40 Chiron Pur Sport has attracted serious interested parties.
One of the bidders is Mat Armstrong, a popular YouTuber and Instagrammer, known for restoring badly damaged supercars.

Abuja-based car dealer, Aliyu Mohammed, popularly known as as Sarkin, has announced plans to bid for an accidented Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport formerly owned by Alex Gonzalez, a Miami-based American investor, known for his flamboyant posts on Instagram.
Since the badly damaged purple hypercar reached auction on Copart ahead of sales, the 1-of-60 Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport has attracted serious interested parties, including Mat Armstrong, a popular YouTuber and Instagrammer known for restoring badly damaged supercars.

While sharing the news of the upcoming auction, Sarkin noted that the headlights alone, which can only be bought directly from Bugatti, cost $150,000 and more than a brand new 2026 Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUV.
Before being cautioned by the Federal Government, Sakin is known for mocking Nigerian civil servants for their inability to afford his luxury vehicles for sale, which are mostly priced from N10 million.

Also bidding for this totaled Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport is Mat Armstrong, a popular YouTuber and Instagrammer, known for restoring badly damaged supercars.

If Sakin wins this bid that is expected to be in the north of over $1.5 million, this badly damaged Chiron Pur Sport will need nearly one million dollars ($1 million) and a visit to Bugatti home in France to bring it back on the road.
After receiving the needed restorations, this Chiron Pur Sport will likely be the ‘only Chiron in the whole Nigeria’ as one has never been captured driving on the road or pictured in garages.
