At the heart of the all-electric Cayenne models is the newly developed 113 kWh high-voltage battery, which offers a range of up to 642 km (399 miles) for the Cayenne Electric and up to 623 km (387 miles) for the Turbo.
Thanks to its 800-volt technology, its battery-pack can be charged from 10 to 80 per cent in less than 16 minutes, while a range of 325 km/202 miles (Cayenne) or 315 km/196 miles (Cayenne Turbo) can be added within 10 minutes.

In addition, the Cayenne Electric can be charged wireless when parked above a compact one-box floor plate. Offered optionally, this contactless charging technology achieves a similar efficiency to wired AC charging : up to 90 per cent.
Starting at $111,350, the base Cayenne Electric can accelerate from rest to 100 km/h (60 mph) in 4.8 seconds, on its way to a top speed of 230 km/h (140 mph).

In comparison, the $165,350 Cayenne Turbo can accelerate from 0-100 km/h (60 mph) in 2.5 seconds when Launch Control is activated, before reaching a top speed of 260 km/h (160 mph).
“The Cayenne Electric shows performance in a completely new dimension, with innovative technologies that we have developed in motorsport. It sets new standards in the SUV segment – in terms of driving characteristics as well as charging,” says Oliver Blume, Porsche AG CEO.
“Outstanding electric performance meets very real everyday usability. Excellent long-distance comfort combines with uncompromising off-road capability.”
