Xiaomi Has Already Produced Its 500,000th Vehicle

Xiaomi has only recently become a car manufacturer, and the Chinese tech giant is doing a remarkable job. Less than two years after building its first production model, Xiaomi Auto’s production has already surpassed 500,000 units.
Xiaomi Auto announced on its social media channels that it has built its 500,000th car. The celebratory car is a green Xiaomi YU7, the brand’s electric SUV and currently one of only two models on the product line. Xiaomi Auto was founded in September 2021 and produced the first unit of its inaugural model, the Xiaomi SU7, in December 2023. The aforementioned YU7 later joined the product lineup.
In less than two years, Xiaomi has managed to produce half a million cars with a very limited model range. Xiaomi currently sells its models primarily in China, but it has ambitious goals. In 2027, it will also launch its models on the European car market. Xiaomi is certainly doing well in China, where it outsold Tesla in October, selling nearly 50,000 cars.
