Genesis Unveils Redesigned 2026 Electrified GV70 SUV - autojosh

Hyundai’s luxury brand – Genesis – has renewed the crossover GV70, which was premiered six years ago. The update was first made in the home market of South Korea, and during the summer, the facelifted GV70 will also be launched in the US and Europe.

The main novelty with the facelifted crossover is the addition of the optional sporty Graphite package, which includes matte black side mirror caps and red brake calipers, along with original 21-inch wheels.

The GV70 Graphite is available in four body colors – Bering Blue, Ceres Matte Pearlescent, Makalu Gray and Uyuni White – while a new shade, Tromso Green, has been added to the range of standard versions. New wheel designs are available for standard Genesis GV70 models without the option package, increasing the wheel diameter from 18 to 19 inches, even on the base model. Regardless of the option package, all upgraded Genesis GV70s receive improved noise and vibration isolation.

The Graphite package brings not only changes to the exterior but also to the interior, where it brings a two-tone black and blue Nappa leather interior with distinctive logos on the headrests and microfiber seat inserts. All linings are made of carbon fiber. Bright red details, such as stitching and seat belts, complete the look. The infotainment system has been enhanced with special graphics. The overall quality of the lining material has been improved.

Finally, the Graphite package includes an electronically controlled limited-slip differential and revised adaptive suspension. The technology remains unchanged. In Korea, the GV70 is offered with a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder turbo gasoline engine (304 hp) and a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine (380 hp). Both engines are mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The price of the refreshed Genesis GV70 crossover has not yet been announced, and the pre-reform model in South Korea costs 54.7 million won (from 31,905 euros).
