King of Morocco Pulls Up For Eid Prayers In His Open-top Vintage Mercedes-Benz 600 Pullman Landaulet
King of Morocco pulls up for Eid prayers on Wednesday in his open-top vintage Mercedes-Benz 600 Pullman Landaulet.
His rare Pullman Landaulet from the 1970s features a convertible rear section, which allows to to stand and greet citizens.
Pullman 600 is the long-wheelbase version of the W100 Mercedes 600, and the equivalent of today’s top-of-the-range S-Class sedan.

Morocco’s King Mohammed VI (born Mohammed ben El Hassan) performed the Eid Al-Adha prayer on Wednesday May 27 at the Ahl Fes Mosque in the Mechouar district of Rabat.
The head of state of Morocco arrived at the mosque in his vintage 1970s Mercedes-Benz 600 Pullman Landaulet accompanied by the elite Royal Guard and led by dozens of motorcycle outriders.

His rare Mercedes-Benz 600 Pullman Landaulet from the 1970s features a convertible rear section, which allows the 62 year old monarch to stand and greet citizens – as seeing in the footage shared.


King Mohammed VI is known for picking his guests at the airport in his open-top Mercedes-Benz 600 Pullman, before taking them on royal motorcade.
Launched in 1963 at the Frankfurt motor show, the Pullman 600 is essentially the long-wheelbase version of the W100 Mercedes 600, and the equivalent of today’s top-of-the-range S-Class sedan.


The six-seater stretch limousine was 6,240 mm (245.7 in) long and came in closed and open-top (Landaulet) versions with its wheelbase measuring 3,900 mm (153.5 in).
Powering the Mercedes Pullman is naturally aspirated, 6,3-liter V8, which produces 250-horsepower and 510 Nm, allowing the 2.6 tonne car to reach a top speed of 125 mph (207 km/h) and a 0-60 mph (100 km/h) in less than 10 seconds.
