The new Mercedes-Benz S680 GUARD’s VR10 level of protection is the highest protection that a civilian vehicle can receive.

Powering the new livesaving Mercedes-Benz S 680 GUARD 4MATIC limousine is a 6.0-litre V12 with the power of 612 horses.

It can push the 4.2-4.5 tons armored S-Class to 60 mph in 6.0 seconds and a limited top-speed of 118 mph due to the extreme weight of the vehicle.

Meet the all-new 2027 Mercedes-Benz S680 GUARD with VR10, the brand’s latest chauffeur-driven ‘Mobile Fortress’ specially designed to ferry Heads of State, business leaders and members of royal families in style through the toughest regions on the planet.

Mercedes-Benz claims that the new S-Class GUARD is currently the “only series-production limousine to offer certified VR10 ballistic protection for both transparent (glass) and opaque body areas (chassis) ex-factory.”

The new S680 GUARD’s VR10 level of protection, which combines the in-house developed Integrated Protection System (iSS) with a discreet aluminium outer skin, is the highest protection that a civilian vehicle can receive.

Mercedes-Benz new armored limousine remains a proper 2027 S-Class inside with highly customisable rear compartment and the MBUX High-End Rear Seat Entertainment, featuring productivity features such as seamless video conferencing.

The sS680 GUARD packs GUARD specific systems, including fire extinguishing and emergency fresh-air systems, the Threat Alarm System, external communication and servo-assisted doors, to keep its occupants safe.

Still not enough? Mercedes-Benz says that a broad range of options and bespoke solutions is available to configure the new S 680 GUARD 4MATIC precisely for government duties and other highly specialised roles.
