China flaunts high-speed trains as it prepares to carry 3 billion passengers during its largest annual migration.
China’s high speed railways, the most advanced in the world, remain its most important form of transport.
Over a billion passengers will make three billion trips during the Spring Festival travel rush from January 15th to February 24th.
The annual 40-day Spring Festival travel rush is known as Chunyun in Chinese.
China, the world’s most populated country, flaunts hundreds of its High-speed trains as it prepares to carry over 3 billion passangers during its largest annual migration, known as the Spring Festival travel rush or the Chunyun period.
The travel season in China usually begins 15 days before New Year’s Day and lasts for around 40 days.
This year, the Chinese New Year, also known as Lunar New Year or Spring Festival, will fall on Tuesday, February 1st, 2022, beginning a year of the Tiger.

To avoid another gridlock during this year’s “World’s largest annual human migration“, China is fully prepared to ferry some of the holiday-goers to-and-fro with its high-speed bullet trains.
This year, over a billion passengers will make three billion trips during the Spring Festival travel rush from January 15th to February 24th for family reunions and travel. The annual 40-day travel rush is known as Chunyun in Chinese.
