₦‎970/Litre : Dangote Refinery Slashes Petrol Price By ₦‎20 To Thank Nigerians For Their Support

The Dangote Refinery Limited (DRL) in Ibeju-Lekki area of Lagos State has announced a slash in the price of the Premium Motor Spirit (popularly known as petrol) for marketers by ₦‎20 from ₦‎990 per litre to ₦‎970/litre.

In a statement, the spokesperson of DRL, Anthony Chiejina, disclosed that move is to appreciate the good people of Nigeria for their unwavering support in making the refinery a dream come true.

“In addition, this is to thank the government for its support, as this will complement the measures put in place to encourage domestic enterprise for our collective well-being.”

“While the refinery would not compromise on the quality of its petroleum products, we assure you of the best quality products that are environmentally friendly and
sustainable.”

NNPC Restarts Port Harcourt Refinery, Trucks Begins Loading Of Petrol And Diesel

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Ltd. on Tuesday November 26th commenced crude oil processing at the 60,000 barrels-per-day Old Port Harcourt Refining Company (PHRC) as well as the delivery of petroleum products into the market.

The successful revitalization of the PHRC was marked by the truck loading of petroleum products including Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) or petrol, Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) or diesel and Household Kerosene (HHK) or Kerosene.

Speaking during a brief ceremony to mark the commencement of products loading at the PHRC, the Group CEO, Mr. Mele Kyari thanked President Bola Tinubu for his unwavering support and understanding towards the rehabilitation project.

Customs Returns Stolen Rolls-Royce, Lamborghini, Range Rovers, 18 Other Cars Worth ₦1.8B To Canada

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has returned Twenty-One (21) luxury vehicles worth over ₦1.8 billion to Canada, following the successful recovery of the stolen vehicles smuggled into Nigeria by a criminal syndicate.

Some of the high-end vehicles that Nigeria Customs returned includes three (3) undeclared 2021 Toyota Highlander SUVs, two of which were confirmed stolen from Canada.

Others are Rolls-Royce Wraith and a 2019 Lamborghini Huracan, both recovered in Victoria Island, 2 Range Rovers (2023 and 2018 models) intercepted in Lekki, and a Mercedes-Benz G550 and a Range Rover Sport, seized along the Trinity Axis in Lagos.
