Gbajabiamila Test-Drove NASENI’s Electric Pickup, Commends Agency’s Product Innovations
Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, test-drove NASENI’s electric pickup, commends the Agency’s product innovations.
Commendation came during his visit to NASENI, where he was shown new products such as Home Solar, Prepaid Meter and Battery.
Gbajabiamila commended Halilu, stating that his impact has translated into lots of products within a period of 11 months.

Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, has commended the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) for its technological advancements, product innovations and interventions in various sectors of the economy.
Gbajabiamila stated this during a familiarisation visit to the Agency on August 21st 2024, where he met with Executive Vice Chairman/CEO of NASENI, Mr Khalil Halilu, and test-drove an electric pickup van built by the Agency.

During his visit, he also visited NASENI’s Hatch Box, Innovation Hub, Solar Irrigation Pump, and was shown new products built by the agency including Home Solar, Prepaid Meters, Laptops and Batteries.
Speaking after an inspection tour of NASENI Complex in Idu Industrial Area, Gbajabiamila commended Halilu, stating that his impact has translated into lots of products within a period of 11 months which is a testament to his commitment, dedication and passion for excellence.

Gbajabiamila noted that in this technology-driven age, NASENI is one of the key agencies of government to President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda which aims to position Nigeria amongst the comity of nations in scientific and technological advancements.
Earlier, the EVC of NASENI took time to explain to the Chief of Staff the various innovations, interventions and partnerships which the Agency has embarked on in the last few months to advance technology transfer and align the NASENI’s mandate with President’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
