GMC Introduces 2024 Hummer EV 3X Pickup With Extended Driving Range Of 381 Miles

GMC introduces longer driving 2024 Hummer EV 3X pickup truck with a estimated 381 miles range on full charge.

Models equipped with Extreme Off-Road Package also gets a GM-estimated 359 miles of range on a full charge.

The Hummer EV 3X pickup, which starts at $106,945, goes on sale this fall to current reservation holders.

General Motors (GM) has announced an extended driving range for both all-electric 2024 GMC Hummer EV 3X pickup and the optional off-road-oriented variant equipped with the available 24-module battery.

With the available 24-module battery, the 2024 Hummer EV 3X trim gets a whopping GM-estimated 381 miles (613 kilometers) of range on a full charge, which is a 26-mile increase over 2023 model year.

Models equipped with the available Extreme Off-Road Package also gets a GM-estimated 359 miles (578 km) of range on a full charge, a 30-mile increase over the previous model year.

“For extended road trips, overlanding in remote areas or daily driving, the 2024 GMC HUMMER EV 3X Pickup will take you where you need to go, now with more driving range and confidence,” said Al Oppenheiser, chief engineer, GMC Hummer EV.

“As we expand the limits on our all-electric future, we’re excited to continue improving the range and to take the GMC HUMMER EV farther than ever for our customers and their adventures.”

While the sporty 2024 GMC Hummer EV 3X Pickup is designed for on-road driving dynamics, the available Extreme Off-Road package allows the pickup truck to tackle the toughest trails.

Standard features on the 3X Pickup trim include a 22-inch wheels and 35-inch all-terrain tyres. With the standard 20-module battery, the pickup reaches 60 mph from zero in 3.5 seconds and 3 seconds with the 24-module battery.

Production of the Hummer EV 3X pickup and SUV begins later this year at GM’s Factory ZERO Assembly Center in Detroit and Hamtramck. The 3X pickup, which starts at $106,945, goes on sale this fall to current reservation holders.
