The U.S. Model Hyundai Venue Has No New Improvements, And An All-New Model Isn’t Coming Soon
Last year, Hyundai introduced the Venue SEL w/ 2-Tone Roof, featuring a denim blue paint paired with a white roof. This contrasted with the trim’s other two-tone options, which utilized black roofs.
However, that specific configuration is being discontinued. For the 2027 model year, the Hyundai Venue will remain largely unchanged, though the white-roof option will be removed. While Hyundai has not provided an official explanation for this decision, standardizing black roofs across the two-tone lineup may serve to streamline production processes. Although this change reduces the variety of distinctive styling options available to new customers, current owners will retain the exclusivity of their vehicles, as the Denim Blue combination is replaced by the new Mirage Green and black roof pairing.
The 2027 Hyundai Venue keeps its 1.6-liter engine and 121-hp output while replacing the discontinued Denim Blue/white roof option with a new Mirage Green/black roof pairing. Other two-tone combinations, including Lunar White and Ecotronic Gray, will remain available.
Hyundai hasn’t announced 2027 pricing, but the 2026 Venue SE starts at $20,550, making it Hyundai’s most affordable U.S. model. The two-tone SEL starts at $22,600, while the top-trim SEL, which includes a sunroof, costs $225 more. The 2027 U.S. model remains a carryover from the 2019 generation, as the new-generation version released in India remains market-exclusive.
