Lamborghini Delivered A Record 9,233 Cars In 2022, Thanks To Urus SUV - autojosh

Lamborghini delivered 9,233 cars to clients in 53 different countries last year, 10% increase of over the previous year.

Sales in key markets broke records with Asia registering +14%, America +10% and EMEA with +7%, compared to 2021.

Urus is the most in-demand model (5,367), followed by V10-powered Huracán (3,113) and the V12 Aventador (753).





Automobili Lamborghini saw the best sales figures ever in 2022 after delivering 9,233 cars to clients in 53 different countries worldwide, an increase of 10% over the 8,405 cars delivered in the previous year.

Thanks to its dealership, which rose from 173 to 180 in just one year, sales in almost all key markets broke all records with Asia registering +14%, followed by America with +10% and finally Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA region) with +7%, compared to 2021.

Again, the 641-horsepower Urus Super SUV is the most in-demand model with 5,367 units delivered (+7%), followed by the V10-powered Huracán, with 3,113 units delivered (+20%), and the V12 Aventador with 753 units delivered.

The United States remains in the top spot, with 2,721 cars delivered (+10%), followed by Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong & Macau, where 1,018 cars was delivered, up 9% over the previous year,

808 cars was delivered in Germany (+14%), United Kingdom got 650 cars (up 15%) and Japan, where 546 cars was delivered, up 22% over the previous year.





Year 2022 saw the launch of the Huracán Tecnica in April, a V10-powered rear-wheel drive car that packs the driving dynamics of a Huracán STO into a new, sleeker look suitable for everyday use.

In August, Lamborghini launched the 666-horsepower Urus Performante, while November saw the launched another V10, the off-road-ready Huracán Sterrato.

Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, remarked:
