MINI Brand Saw Exceptional Growth In 2025
MINI achieved exceptional success in 2025 with a total of 288,290 vehicles delivered, which represents a significant growth of 17.7% compared to the previous year. The demand for electric vehicles is particularly impressive—with 105,535 electric MINI models delivered (+87.9%), the brand achieved a new record in electromobility.
More than a third of all MINI vehicles sold worldwide are now electric, and in some markets, such as the Netherlands, Turkey, Sweden, and China, that share exceeds 50%.
Jean-Philippe Parain, head of the MINI brand, points out, “MINI is continuously increasing the share of fully electric vehicles, demonstrating its innovative strength and focus on the future.”
The largest MINI model in the portfolio, the MINI Countryman, was the key growth driver with a share of 32.4% in total sales. In 2025, 93,305 Countryman units were sold (+15.2%), while the electric version recorded a growth of 81.8%.
The sports sub-brand John Cooper Works also set new standards with 25,630 units sold, an increase of 59.5% and a new sales record.
The traditional MINI Cooper family, which includes the MINI Cooper 3-door, MINI Cooper 5-door, and MINI Convertible, recorded sales of 162,789 units, an increase of 10.3% compared to the previous year.
