Lamborghini Recalls 2019-2024 Urus SUVs For Faulty Rearview Camera Caused By Software Error
Lamborghini recalls 2019-2024 Urus SUVs over software error that causes rearview camera images not to appear.
Owners will be notified by Feb 9 2026 to take their cars to dealers, where parking assist software will be updated free of charge.
Recall follows a recall by Porsche and Audi vehicles for the same for reason as they belong to the Volkswagen Group.

Automobili Lamborghini is recalling certain 2019-2024 Urus SUVs due to software issue that may cause the rear-view camera image not to appear on the display when the vehicle is placed in reverse, increasing the risk of a crash.
“A software error may deactivate the rearview camera image, resulting in the image not displaying. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, “Rear Visibility””, according to the recall notice published by the NHTSA on December 21 2025.
Lamborghini said owners of the affected Urus SUVs will be notified by February 9th 2026 to take their vehicles to dealers, where the parking assist software will be updated free of charge.
The Italian sports car manufacturer’s recall of the Urus follows a recall by Porsche and Audi vehicles for the same for reason as they belong to the Volkswagen Group and share many components and technologies.
The Urus isn’t only Lamborghini’s most popular model by sales since its arrival in the market but also the most popular ultra-luxury SUV in Nigeria – ranking as the most-spotted expensive car in Lagos in the last three years.
Priced from over ₦600 million, the Urus is owned by well-to-do individuals and several Nigerian music stars, including Wizkid, Rhema and Patoranking and Burna Boy – the latter boasting the Novitec-tuned version of the Lamborghini SUV.
