While the US President uses the Cadillac ONE aka the Beast, the Diplomatic Security Service runs an entire fleet of attack-proof Chevrolet Suburban SUVs to shuttle important people like Blinken around.
Back in 2021, GM’s subsidiary, GM Defense LLC, announced it has received a contract to develop armoured Suburban-based vehicles for United State Diplomatic Security Service (DSS).

As part of the total development contract valued at $36.4 million, GM Defense will create purpose-built Suburbans, building 10 vehicles over the next two years, which works out to roughly $3.6 million per Suburban.
GM Defense will deliver the vehicles to The DSS, the federal law enforcement and security arm of the department, in two phases, with first delivery planned for next spring.
