Newly Sworn-in Abia Governor Alex Otti Rides In A Parade Car Made By Innoson

Newly sworn-in Abia State Governor Alex Otti rides in Innoson-based Parade Car during his inauguration ceremony.

Otti was sworn in as the 5th democratically elected Governor of Abia State at exactly 12:19pm on Monday May 29th.

Alex Otti may follow in the footsteps of Anambra State Governor, Soludo, who uses Innoson vehicles as his official vehicle.

Chukwuma Soludo became the first Governor in Nigeria to use locally-made Innoson vehicles, a G80 SUV, as official car.

Dr Alex Otti has been sworn in as the 5th democratically elected Governor of Abia State. Otti took his oath of office at exactly 12:19pm on Monday May 29th during the inauguration held at the Umuahia Township Stadium.

During the inauguration ceremony, the newly sworn-in Abia Governor rode in a parade car specially ordered from Nnewi-based automaker, Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing (IVM).

Sharing his joy for the patronage on his verified Twitter handle, Cornel Osigwe, the head of Corporate Communications, IVM wrote :

“Thanks for believing in @innosonvehicles. We received a call if we can produce a vehicle for the parade and we responded immediately.

“Thanks once again Alex Otti for believing in Local Patronage. We are ready to work with your Government. Congratulations once again.”

For now, Autojosh can’t say whether Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, will follow in the footsteps of Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, who became the first Governor in Nigeria to use locally-made Innoson vehicles, a G80 SUV, as his official vehicle.
