Police in Australia seizes Lamborghini, Harley-Davidson bike from man claiming unemployment benefits for five years.

Both Lamborghini Huracán supercar and an Harley-Davidson VRSC (V-Rod) bike are painted in the same shade of blue.

The search warrant follows the launch of an investigation into his “unexplained wealth” by the authorities in May.

A 39-year-old man has being arrested and charged with “dishonestly possess interfered with unique identifier” after claiming unemployment benefits for five years while owning an unexplained wealth.

During a raid at his property in Sydney in July, a Lamborghini Huracán supercar and an Harley-Davidson VRSC (V-Rod) bike both painted in the same shade of blue was seized alongside a pair of Rolex watches.

The search warrant follows the launch of an investigation into his “unexplained wealth” by NSW State Crime Command’s Organised Crime Squad detectives and the NSW Crime Commission in May.





The man was issued a notice to appear in Parramatta Local Court on the 4th of October. While police continue their investigations, authorities believe his wealth stems from involvement in organized crime.

In a related scam, a man in Florida, U.S., named David T. Hines, was arrested after he illegally obtained $3.9 million in PPP loans during the COVID-19 pandemic and spent part of it buying a $300,000 Lamborghini Huracan.

According to The Department of Justice (DOJ), Hines got a $3.9 million in Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans after initially applying for $13.5 million on behalf of several companies.
