The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi (Ojaja II) has received a brand new stretched bulletproof Cadillac Escalade SUV from Senator Iyiola Omisore, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The news of the lavish gift to the Ooni of Ife was made known by Nigerian journalist and publisher, Dele Momodu, who shared videos and pictures of the ride on his official Instagram page.
“SENATOR IYIOLA OMISORE gifts THE OONI OF IFE OBA ADEYEYE ENITAN OGUNWUSI OJAJA II a bulletproof CADILLAC ESCALADE”, the caption reads.
To express his gratitude for the over N300 million luxury car gift, the 49 year old monarch paid a visit to Senate Omisore, who served as deputy governor of Osun State from 1999 to 2003.
Ooni of Ife’s armored Cadillac Escalade combines ultimate comfort and functionality, with top-notch security to mitigate a variety of high-level threats including attempted kidnappings and carjackings.
Being armored means that the entire passenger compartment of the Cadillac Escalade is encased in a seamless cocoon of ballistic protection to stop high-powered 5.56mm and 7.62mm rounds.
