Lamborghini Revuelto SV Sets Production-Car Lap Record Ahead Of August 14 World Premiere

A heavily camouflaged, track-focused Lamborghini Revuelto SV (Super Veloce—Italian for “super fast”) has set a new production-car lap record at Germany’s Hockenheimring, ahead of its world premiere on August 14 during the 2026 Monterey Car Week.
Behind the wheel of the new super sports car was Lamborghini factory and test driver Marco Mapelli, who set a lap time of 1 minute and 41.6 seconds at the internationally renowned German circuit, which hosts Formula 1, DTM and GT racing.

“Every element of the car has been developed with the goal of taking performance to an even higher level, enhancing the driving engagement and emotion that have always defined our brand,” said Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini.

Lamborghini has yet to reveal the Revuelto SV’s performance figures, but the track-focused supercar is expected to deliver more power from its hybrid powertrain, which combines a naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 engine with three electric motors in the standard Revuelto.
In In the standard Revuelto, the brand’s plug-in hybrid powertrain enables the 1,001-horsepower supercar to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 2.5 seconds and reach a top speed of more than 217 mph (350 km/h).

“The record achieved at the Hockenheimring is the result of this approach and demonstrates how innovation, technology and engineering expertise can be translated into tangible, measurable results.”
Lamborghini will pull the covers off the heavily camouflaged Revuelto SV during this year’s Monterey Car Week, where the brand’s sportiest model will headline a series of premieres, including the U.S. debut of the new Urus SE Performante and the global presentation of the Revuelto Miura 60° Homage.
