Updated Rolls-Royce Spectre: Increased Range And More Of Everything

The Rolls-Royce Spectre has been with us for three years now and has been updated. Remarkably, there is virtually nothing new to be found on the outside or inside. The real news, in fact, lies beneath the skin.

Meet the Rolls-Royce Spectre Series II. This is the updated version of the electric coupe that was presented in 2023. It is not really a facelift. From every angle, the electric Rolls-Royce looks exactly as you knew it. There is a new paint color called ‘Ethereal Blue’ and a new set of 23-inch multi-spoke wheels. Furthermore, various interior and exterior elements can be finished in different materials and colors. The interior panel and the clock gallery, as Rolls-Royce calls the panels that fill the width of the dashboard, now consist of a single piece. There is also a new analog clock, and the illuminated artwork located in the dashboard for the passenger has been updated. However, when we look at the specifications, we encounter more significant changes.

The Rolls-Royce Spectre now boasts a system output of 601 hp and 1,015 Nm. This makes it 16 hp and 115 Nm more powerful than before. Opting for the extra-powerful Spectre Black Badge? Then your right foot now has 680 electric horsepower to tame. Incidentally, the Black Badge was certainly not underpowered before, with 659 hp. The 102-kWh battery has been replaced by one with a net capacity of 112.4 kWh. This gives the Spectre a significantly greater driving range. The range has increased by 18 percent, from 530 to 629 kilometers. In addition, Rolls-Royce promises that charging times have been reduced by 14 percent. The 5.49-meter-long and 2,925-kilogram electric powerhouse reaches a speed of 100 km/h from a standstill in 4.5 seconds. The Spectre Black Badge hums silently to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds.

We conclude with trivial, but no less interesting, figures. The Spectre Series II is available with Duality Twill interior upholstery. This consists of 16 kilometers of thread, woven into something undoubtedly beautiful with 2.6 million stitches.
