Buc-ee’s new 74,000-square-foot gas station in Sevierville also has diesel and 22 electric vehicle stations.

The gas station boasts shopping center, barbecue restaurant, giant bathrooms and well paying jobs for 350 locals.

But the gas station in Sevierville won’t be the biggest for long, as it plans to open a 75,000-square-foot store in Texas.

Buc-ee’s (pronounced like Buck-E’s), an American chain well known for its mascot and the company’s prohibition of 18-wheelers at their locations, has opened a new gas station in Sevierville, Tennessee.

With 120 pumps, Buc-ee’s new 74,000-square-foot gas station in Sevierville is the largest refilling spot in the world. The Sevierville location also has diesel and 22 electric vehicle stations.

Opened 24/7, the gas station also boasts a massive shopping center, barbecue restaurant, giant bathrooms and well paying jobs for 350 locals.

The new gas station in Sevierville is more than just a place to get a gas as it has a giant car wash, a 250-foot car wash that isn’t just a huge attraction but also one of the longest in the country.

But Buc-ee’s new 4,000-square-foot gas station in Sevierville won’t be the world’s biggest station for long, as the company is planning to open a 75,000-square-foot store in Texas.

As of July 2023, Buc-ee’s has 46 active locations across the United States. All its travel centers features 80 to 120 gas pumps, and offers fuel ranging from unleaded to diesel.

On why Buc-ee’s doesn’t allow big 18-wheel trucks at the gas station, its director of operations Josh Smith told Knox News :

“So, the way we are set up, we are set up for the family traveler… So we don’t have the space or the capacity to hold 18-wheelers in the lot.

“We respect them. We thank them for what they do. Unfortunately, we’re just not designed to have 18-wheeler traffic in the parking lot.”
