Track-focused shakedown process mobilizes 2 quality control drivers, a tyre manager, a cooling manager, 2 mechanics, and 2 electricians.

Before the $4.7 million Bugatti Bolides unites with their owners, these track-only hyper sports cars face one last challenge : an intensive final inspection and circuit testing program by eight Bugatti experts to ensure absolute perfection.
This Bugatti’s track-focused shakedown process mobilizes a dedicated team of eight specialists consisting of two quality control drivers, a tyre manager, a cooling manager, two mechanics, and two electricians.

The track-focused shakedown process is divided into two distinct phases, with the first phase focusing on the validation of all dashboard parameters and driving functions to ensure systems are functioning optimally.
During the second phase, the team conducts intensive laps along a 3,750-meter track that allow gradual temperature increases for tyres, brakes, and gearbox – allowing the drivers perform thorough evaluations of stability and safety systems, including ABS and traction control functionality.

“Our dedicated quality team has crafted a process with as much care and attention as the Bolide’s aerodynamicists spent honing the downforce, or the engineers spent perfecting the dynamics. Their work ensures that the W16’s purest expression in the Bolide delivers not just extraordinary performance, but does so with the reliability and quality that defines Bugatti,” said Philippe Grand, Director of Quality at Bugatti.
Bugatti said these rigorous testing process will be ongoing as more customers to take delivery and enjoy their Bolide on-track, including at the Bugatti ‘Feeling the Track’ events, following the premiere gathering at Circuit Paul Ricard in February.
