Half A Million Vehicles Recalled By Mercedes Due To Unexpected Airbag Deployment
Another Mercedes-Benz recall in the United States has affected 500,000 vehicles. The recall is as a result of the steering airbags that could unexpectedly deploy.
The affected models are 2012 till date.. CLA, GLA, GLK, GLC, GLC Coupe, B-Class, C-Class, E-Class and some AMG models like the CLA45, GLC43, C63, and E63. Their clockspring may break and an electrostatic discharge may occur which could cause the airbags to deploy accidentally.
