Innoson said the few IVM Keke it has are prototypes that will help in designing the production model.
The 5-seater IVM Keke is set to join Innoson lineup of vehicles, including Connect, Caris, G20 Smart, Ikenga, G40 and G80.
Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing (IVM) Company Limited, has warned the general public to be wary of scammers as the company currently has no production IVM Keke on sale in the market.
In a statement by Cornel Osigwe, the Head Corporate Communications IVM Innoson Group, the company notes that what it currently have are few ‘prototype’ IVM Kekes, which are being tested. It says that the prototypes will help in designing the production model that will eventually go on sale.
The statement further revealed that first batches of production IVM Keke for sale will come out between August/September, adding that the cost is not N300,000 (300k).
“What Innoson Vehicles produced were just a few samples for test marketing, this is to enable the end-users to give us feedback on some innovations added to it.”
“We’re now collecting this useful feedbacks and the next set of first batches of the final products will come out between August/September.”
“In essence, the factory does not have units to sell to the market now and the cost is not N300,000 (300k).
“Buyers Beware. Don’t fall to scammers.”

The 5-seater IVM Keke is set to join Innoson lineup of vehicles, including Connect, Caris, G20 Smart, Ikenga, G40 and G80.
When it finally arrives in the Nigerian market, IVM-branded three-wheeled vehicles will compete with models from fast-selling brands like Bajaj, Piaggio and TVS. Keke Marwa, also known as Keke Napep, currently sells between N600,000 and N950,000 in Nigeria.
