2023 Peugeot 408 Coupe-SUV Teased Again Ahead Of June 22 Full Debut

French automaker Peugeot will finally enter the coupe-SUV segment with the launch of the all-new 408.
The new upcoming Peugeot 408 Coupe SUV will make its official debut on June 22, 2022.
Peugeot notes that the upcoming 408 SUV is a different from the 408 sedan launched in Chinese market recently.
The new coupe-SUV model will be marketed under the name Peugeot 408, except in China, where it will be called 408X.
French automaker Peugeot has released two new teaser images previewing the new upcoming 2023 Peugeot 408 Coupe SUV that is set to make its official debut on June 22, 2022.
The latest teaser images of the camouflage 408 reveals a dynamic fastback saloon with large wheels and PHEV abbreviation, confirming that a plug-in hybrid powertrain identical to the PHEV system of the 308 is going to be available.
Peugeot says that the test cars of the new 408 has already been driven a total of nearly 1,100,000 km in all possible conditions, on all road types and in many climates.
“Our objective is excellence. We are not only working to test the core technical quality of the new Peugeot 408, but also its customer performance, i.e. any situation its users may encounter,” Emmanuel Lafaury, Peugeot 408 project manager, explains.
“For every test, we exaggerate the constraints, on the road as well as in the laboratories and on the test benches. We are extremely demanding with ourselves in order to achieve the excellence we are striving for”
Peugeot notes that the 408 Crossover coming later this month is completely different from the 408 sedan unveiled by Peugeot for the Chinese market recently. The new coupe-SUV model will be marketed under the name Peugeot 408, except in China, where it will be called 408X.
