Lexus LX And Toyota Land Cruiser Orders Suspended After Demand Exceeds Production
Lexus LX 600 and Toyota Land Cruiser LC 300 orders suspended in Japan after demand exceeds production.
On resumption of orders, they promise to inform their customers, based on the production situation in the future.
High demands for the redesigned SUVs around the world is the reason why we’ve not been seeing them on the Nigerian roads.
Orders for the all-new Toyota Land Cruiser 300 and its poshier brother Lexus LX 600 have been suspended in Japan after their demand outstripped Toyota Motor Company (TMC) production capacity.
Lexus in an apology on its Japanese website said :
“LX has been very well received not only in Japan but also in other countries around the world, and we are currently suspending orders because we have received orders that greatly exceed our production capacity.”
Toyota, just like its luxury brand, also suspended orders for the 2022 Toyota Land Cruiser 300 due to the high demand for the redesigned Sports Utility Vehicle.
In January, Toyota confirms Japanese buyer’s greatest fear, a four-year wait list for all-new Land Cruiser 300 Series SUV. The demand for the all-new 300 Series has been exceptionally high since it was unveiled last year.
Regarding the resumption of orders for Japanese customers, Toyota and Lexus promises to inform its customers based on the production situation in the future.
“Regarding the resumption of orders, we will inform you again based on the future production situation. We apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your understanding.”
Like Toyota and Lexus noted, the Land Cruiser 300 and the LX 600 have been very well received not only in Japan but also in other countries around the world, reasons why we’ve not been seeing the luxury trucks on the Nigerian roads.
