An articulated container truck on Wednesday February 5th 2025 knocked down a newly erected truck barrier at Carter Bridge, inward journey Ijora Olopa, Lagos.

According to the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), that’s the second time that an articulate truck will ram into the truck barrier at Carter Bridge within 24 hours.

“A barrier at Carter Bridge, inward journey Ijora Olopa has been knocked down for the second time within 24 hours,” LAMATA said while announcing traffic diversions.

“To minimize disruptions, traffic has been diverted to the Iddo/Oyingbo route. Traffic Officers are strategically positioned to manage the diverted traffic and ensure a smooth flow.”
