New Genesis X Gran Equator Concept Previews Future Off-road-ready SUV
The all-new Genesis X Gran Equator Concept previews the Korean brand’s future off-road-ready SUV.
Inspired by reductive design principles, the X Gran Equator arrives at Genesis’ first adventure vehicle concept.
Genesis hasn’t confirmed it for production, but its design and features showcase the brand’s future design potential.
The X Gran Equator Concept will be on display during the 2025 New York International Auto Show from April 18.


The all-new Genesis X Gran Equator Concept has made its public debut at the ongoing 2025 New York International Auto Show, with the futuristic off-road-ready SUV concept arriving as the brand’s first adventure vehicle concept.
Inspired by reductive design principles, the X Gran Equator Concept reimagines Genesis’ “Athletic Elegance” design philosophy while embracing the rugged spirit of overlanding.





On the exterior, the X Gran Equator Concept boasts a geometric auxiliary lamps and Genesis’ signature Two-Line headlamps.It also features a split-opening tailgate and a 24-inch beadlock wheels.
Inside, the cabin design features contrasting colors and shapes, a swiveling front seats while the center of the cabin houses a four-circle display cluster on the center stack, inspired by the vintage camera dials.



Genesis hasn’t confirmed the X Gran Equator Concept for production, but its design and innovative features — such as the integrated roof rails and split-opening tailgate — showcase the brand’s future design potential.
The X Gran Equator Concept will be on display at the Genesis booth during the 2025 New York International Auto Show from April 18. Following the show, it will be on display at Genesis House New York until the end of July.
