Ultra-luxury ‘Aurus Senat’ Sedan, Promoted By Russian President Vladimir Putin, Spotted In Dubai

Ultra-luxury ‘Aurus Senat’ sedan, promoted by Russian President Vladimir Putin, spotted in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Fitted with ‘Dubai plate’, this Aurus Senat is likely produced in UAE as local production started in there in November 2023.
Aurus Senat S600 is the sedan model while S700, the type used by Vladimir Putin, is the limo variant of the flagship car.
An Aurus Senat S600, a flagship luxury sedan jointly developed by NAMI and Porsche/Bosch and promoted by Russian President Vladimir Putin, was recently seen cruising on the highway in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Fitted with ‘Dubai number plate’, this example is likely produced in UAE as local production started in the country in November 2023, though no photos of UAE-assembled Senat had been seen on the Internet.
The start of production was made known by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Alexey Gruzdev, who also announced the start of test drives of the Aurus Senat produced in the United Arab Emirates.
The Aurus Senat S600 is the sedan model while the S700, the type used by Russian President Vladimir Putin as official State Car, is the limousine variant of the flagship car.
Following its first public appearance during the inauguration of Putin in May 7 2018, the Russian leader showed off his new “Bunker on Wheels” to Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and the reaction of the latter shows how spectacular and luxurious the armored car was.
“Wow, how nice, It’s better than my Mercedes”, the Wealthy Crown Prince Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, said.
That little show off paid off after Abu Dhabi-based Tawazun Economic Council ,the body tasked with the development of a UAE defence industry, has decided to invest 110 million Euros in the Russian automotive brand Aurus.
Then, the investments, which represented 36 per cent of the share capital of the company, will reportedly be used for full-scale mass production of Aurus vehicles as well as in the development of distribution in international markets.
