Pagani reveals open-top Huayra Codalunga Speedster – Just 10 of the $7.6 million hypercar will be made.
Codalunga Speedster inspired by the long-tail Le Mans racers of the 1960s and features extended, flowing bodywork.
Powering the Huayra Codalunga Speedster is a 6.0-liter V12 twin-turbo engine developed exclusively with Mercedes-AMG.
It churns 864-hp, allowing a 0-60 mph in just 2.7 seconds and an electronically limited top-speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).
Italian sports car manufacturer, Pagani Automobili, has revealed the Huayra Codalunga Speedster – which is an open air variant the coupé version that won the Design Award at the 2023 Concorsod’ Eleganza Villa d’Este.
Created by Grandi Complicazioni, the Pagani division responsible for the creation of one-off and few-off cars, the Codalunga Speedster was inspired by the long-tail Le Mans racers of the 1960s and features extended, flowing bodywork.
“Every Pagani is born to bring into form the unique vision each person has of a hypercar,” said Horacio Pagani, the founder and Chief Designer at Pagani Automobili.
Like its fixed-roof Huayra Codalunga Coupe sibling, the Huayra Codalunga Speedster features a fighter jet-inspired cabin with hand-stitched leathers, solid-milled metals and finishes that evoke a timeless elegance.
Powering the Huayra Codalunga Speedster is the 60° Pagani V12, a 6.0-liter twin-turbo engine developed exclusively with Mercedes-AMG. It churns 864-horsepower, allowing a 0-60 mph (100 km/h) in just 2.7 seconds and an electronically limited top-speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).
While the sold out Huayra Codalunga Coupe priced from €7 million (roughly $7.6 million) was limited to just five (5) units, Pagani plans a production run of just ten (10) units for the Huayra Codalunga Speedster with deliveries schedule starting in 2026.
“The Huayra Codalunga Speedster is a tribute to those who imagine their sports car as an icon of lightness and momentum, shaped by essential lines that transcend time with ease,” Pagani boss adds.
