Earlier this month, Automobili Lamborghini marked the official 20th anniversary of the Centro Stile Lamborghini, the brand’s in-house design center, with unveiling of a new concept car, dubbed the Manifesto.
Finished in yellow paint seen on the limited-production Fenomeno revealed in August, the Manifesto Concept is simply a “visionary sculpture” to showcase the potential future of Lamborghini’s Design DNA”.

“Proudly supporting with a visionary sculpture “Lamborghini Manifesto” showcasing the potential future of our unique Design DNA,” Lamborghini design director, Mitja Borkert, wrote while images of the Manifesto on his personal Instagram account.

While it previews the design of future Lamborghini supercar, the Manifesto Concept boasts a wedge-shaped body seen in iconic cars like Diablo and Countach and a signature Y-shaped front lights now seen on the flagship Revuelto.
Known for producing modern production and few-off Lamborghinis, the Centro Stile presented the first car entirely designed by the recently-founded Sant’Agata Bolognese design department 20 years ago.

“A modern super sports car company cannot rely on external studios alone,” added Borkert, who had been Design Director of Automobili Lamborghini since 2016.
“Design is the number one reason customers buy a Lamborghini. It has to be developed in-house, in close dialogue with engineering and production, and in direct continuity with the brand’s DNA.”
