LASG Rolls Out Traffic Advisory Ahead Of BMW’s AUTOFEST On Sunday
LASG rolls out traffic advisory ahead of annual BMW’s AUTOFEST on Sunday 21st December 2025.
BMW’s Autofest is scheduled to hold on Sunday 21st December 2025, between 12:00 noon and 7:00 pm.
Motorists implored to be patient as the Traffic Management Personnel will be on the diversion corridors to ease movement.
The Lagos State Government has rolled out a traffic advisory ahead of the 7th edition of the Bavarian Motor Works outdoor show (BMW’s AUTOFEST) scheduled for Sunday 21st December 2025, between the hours of 12:00 noon and 7:00 pm.
In a statement, the Lagos State Ministry of Transportation implored motorists to be patient as the Traffic Management Personnel from LASTMA and FRSC will be on ground to manage vehicular movement along the affected routes
“Consequently, there will be a temporary road closure along the race routes : Marina Road (UBA) – Kakawa Street – Balabina Street – Broad Street – Issah Williams Street – Broad Street, and back to Inner Marina, which is the end point of the race.”
“To this end, all junctions and intersections from Marina Road (UBA) to Broad Street (Inner Marina) will be cordoned off with road barriers to restrict access to the main race corridor.”
“Motorists are advised to exercise patience, as Traffic Management Authorities, including LASTMA, the Nigerian Police Force, the Federal Road Safety Corps, and the Lagos State Neighbourhood Corps, will be on ground to manage vehicular movement along the affected routes, ensuring orderly traffic control and minimal impact on overall traffic flow.”
