Arnold Schwarzenegger recently made headlines after posting a video of himself repairing potholes that he said had been screwing up cars and bicycles in his Los Angeles neighborhood for weeks.

In the short posted to Twitter, the actor and former California Governor, decked out in work boots, and friends were seen using a packaged asphalt to fill up what he said was a “giant hole”.

He captioned the video with :

“Today, after the whole neighborhood has been upset about this giant pothole that’s been screwing up cars and bicycles for weeks, I went out with my team and fixed it. I always say, let’s not complain, let’s do something about it. Here you go.”

“You have to do it yourself. This is crazy. For three weeks I’ve been waiting for this hole to be closed,” the “The Terminator” star said when a neighbour drove past and thanked him for exercising his civic duty.

According to Daniel Ketchell, a spokesperson for Schwarzenegger, Brentwood residents made repeated requests for repairs since winter storms opened up potholes and cracks on roads.
