FG Commissions NADDC State-of-the-art Automotive Training Centre In Ado Ekiti
Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment commissions NADDC State-of-the-art Automotive training centre in Ado Ekiti.
The Automotive Training Centre is equipped with world class training equipment and modules from Germany.
It is set to empower youth and upskill them into highly professional technicians in the automotive field.
The automotive training centre at Ado Ekiti is one of the now 21 centres developed across the nation by NADDC.
The Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Otunba Niyi Adebayo, has commissioned the new National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC) automotive training centre in Ado Ekiti.
The automotive training centre, equipped with world class training equipment and modules from Germany, is set to empower youth and upskill them into highly professional technicians in the automotive field.
Speaking at the event, the Honourable Minister reiterated the new Centre’s importance in Technology Transfer and mentioned that the project is in line with the recently approved 2023 National Automotive Industry Development Plan (NAIDP).
Also speaking at the event, the DG of NADDC, Jelani Aliyu, noted that the automotive training centre at Ado Ekiti is one of the now 21 developed across the nation by the agency in its commitment to train and empower youth in the automotive sector.
The NADDC boss believes these centres will strategically create a nationwide massive pool of highly professional, competent and inspired automotive technicians, who can easily and effectively handle the much needed repairs, service and maintenance of both normal and new intelligent automobiles.
