Rimac Nevera R Electric Hypercar Smashes Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut’s 0-400-0 km/h Record
Rimac Nevera R smashes Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut’s 0-400-0 km/h record with blistering time of 25.79 seconds.
New record is just one of 24 new world records set by Nevera R during its final validation test ahead of the customer deliveries.

All-electric Rimac Nevera R hypercar has reclaimed its crown from Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut’s after completing the 0-249-0 mph (0-400-0 km/h) run in a blistering time of 25.79 seconds – shaving off 2.04 seconds.
Nevera’s new record bettered Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut’s time of 27.83 seconds set a year ago in July 2024 at the Orebro Airport Runway near the Swedish capital of Stockholm.

The new accelerating record makes the Rimac Nevera R hypercar not just the fastest accelerating road-legal vehicle but also the fastest accelerating electric vehicle.
But the new 0-400-0 km/h (0-249-0 mph) record time is just one of 24 new world records set by the Nevera R during its final validation test ahead of the customer deliveries.

With the new 0-400-0 km/h (0-249-0 mph) run, the Regera R improved on the standard Nevera’s time by 4.14 seconds and also achieved a new 0-60 mph time of 1.66 seconds, beating the Nevera’s 1.74-second record.
In addition, the Nevera reached 100 km/h in just 1.72 seconds (versus Nevera’s 1.81 seconds), 200 km/h in 3.95 seconds (versus 4.42 seconds in Nevera), and to 300 km/h in just 7.89 seconds (Nevera’s 9.22 seconds).

While the standard Nevera with 1,914-horsepower reached a top speed of 412 km/h (256 mph), the 2,107-hp Nevera R topped out at 431.45 km/h (268.2 mph) to set a new record for the fastest EV top speed.
Limited to just 40 units worldwide, the Nevera R has starting price of 2.3 million EUR ($2.7 million). Commenting on the new record, Mate Rimac, the President of the Rimac Group and CEO Bugatti Rimac, said “breaking records is in our DNA, and we won’t stop here.”
