Enugu State Gov. Ugwuanyi Launches IVM Cruise In Style (VIDEO)
Enugu State Governor, Ifeanyi Lawrence Ugwuanyi graces official launch of IVM Cruise in Grand Style.
The service allows commuters to request for pickups and drop-offs from their various locations to their destinations.
The Executive Governor of Enugu State, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ifeanyi Lawrence Ugwuanyi (Gburugburu) on Friday launched Innoson’s novel city transportation service, aptly christened, the IVM Cruise.
The newly launched ride-hailing platform is designed to enable Enugu State dwellers to request for pickups and drop offs from location to destination. It will also feature charter rides to distant places.

A short clip posted online captures the moment that Governor Ugwuanyi graces the official Ribbon cutting of the IVM Cruise in a grand style.
Speaking during the launching, the CEO of Innoson Group of Companies, Chief (Dr.) Innocent Chukwuma, commended Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State for “ensuring an enabling environment and a favourable investment climate for commercial activities to thrive within the state”.
IVM Cruise
IVM Cruise is a technology-driven ride-hailing service. The service offers commuters a platform for requesting pickups and drop-offs from their various locations to their destinations.
The platform tends to operate on an incremental digital architecture. Meanwhile, this would be in line with modern trends in the city transportation industry.
Innoson’s IVM Cruise ride-hailing service features include a digital wallet payment system, an offline payment facility. Also included are an interactive user interface/application for both pilots and commuters ease of usage.
Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Co. Ltd., is a Nigerian automobile and bus manufacturing company. Innocent Chukwuma Nwala found the company. Meanwhile, he runs a plant in Nnewi in the state of Anambra.
