2018 Independence Day Drive Will Feature Cars That Once Ruled Our Nigerian Roads

Independence Day Celebration is around the corner and there is an event to spice it up for everybody, especially the car lovers/enthusiasts.
It’s the 2018 Independence Drive. It is an event organized by The Classic Car Club of Nigeria in partnership with GRILLS2GRILSS.
This is the second edition of this event which unites car enthusiasts with the particular aim of refreshing our memories with the classic cars that once ruled our Nigerian roads.
The event will feature a motorcade of classic and vintage cars which will drive through the streets of Lagos before they converge for an after party in Lekki, Lagos where the cars will be displayed and admired taking Nigerians down the memory lane.
The event will start by 10 AM on October 1, and the point of departure is Bay Lounge.

The planned route for the Independence Drive:
Bay Lounge – Lekki Ikoyi Link Bridge – Bourdillon – Kingsway Road – Akin Adesola – Eko Hotel – Palms – Ozumba – Bonny Camp – Eko Bridge – Ikorodu Road – Maryland – Sheraton Road – Opebi – Allen – Shoprite Ikeja – 3rd Mainland – Falomo – Ozumba – Lekki – Phase 1.
