Kia EV3 Wins “2025 World Car of The Year”, Here Is The List Of Other Winners At The World Car Awards

Kia EV3 compact electric vehicle (EV) SUV wins “2025 World Car of The Year”, Here is the list of other winners at the 2025 World Car Awards.

The Kia EV3 compact electric vehicle (EV) SUV has won the overall 2025 World Car of the Year title at this year’s 2025 World Car Awards (WCA) held at the New York International Auto Show, edging out the BMW X3 and Hyundai Inster (Hyundai Campster) to clinch the prestigious award.

In addition to boasting the cutting-edge innovation of Kia’s flagship EV9, the EV3 has a segment-leading range of up to 605 km (375.93 miles) that can charge from 10-80 percent in 31 minutes, thanks to its rapid charging capability.

The 2025 World Car Awards were judged by a panel of 96 highly respected international automotive journalists from 30 countries. The EV3’s victory brings Kia’s total of wins at the World Car Awards to six since 2020.

Previous World Car Awards titles won by Kia includes 2024 World Car of the Year and 2024 World Electric Vehicle, both awards won by the EV9. EV6 GT won the 2023 World Performance Car while the Telluride and Soul EV won 2020 World Car of the Year and 2020 World Urban Car, respectively.
