The Lagos State Government, through the Lagos State Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA), has began the first of many test runs along the 37-km Red Line Rail ahead of start of operation in the first quarter (Q1) of 2024.

A video shared by LAMATA on its official social media pages shows the deployment of one of the high-speed diesel-powered trains that will serve the Lagos Red Line Rail Mass Transit project.
