Mercedes-Benz sold 453,700 Cars in Q2 2025, top-end deliveries driven by Mercedes-AMGs and the G-Class.
Overall, the Mercedes-Benz Group sold 547,100 cars and vans (-9%) in Q2 2025, including 93,400 units (-18%) of Vans.
Global Plug-In-Hybrid sales rose by 34% while the share of electrified vehicles reached 40% in Europe and 21% on a global level.

New Mercedes-Benz CLA
The Mercedes-Benz Group (former Daimler AG) sold 453,700 (-9%) cars in the second quarter, with with the new global tariff policies impacting sales of Mercedes-Benz Cars in the U.S. and China in particular.
The Top-End sales represented 14.3% of overall sales in Q2 with deliveries reaching 69,000 units (+5%), which was driven by ongoing strong customer demand for Mercedes-AMG vehicles (+19%) and the G-Class (+56%).
With sales up by 9% in the second quarter, the GLC remained the top-selling car globally in the first half of 2025, while the sales of the new CLE rose by 30% in Q2 and 66% in the first half of 2025.
“Overall, we see good customer demand in the U.S. and Germany for our products including our Top-End vehicles, despite tariffs impacting our global sales in the second quarter”, said Mathias Geisen, who heads the Marketing & Sales department for Mercedes Group.
“In China, in a highly competitive environment, we could keep the number one position in the Top-End luxury segment in the first half of the year.”
Global Plug-In-Hybrid sales increased by 34% in the second quarter while the sales of the new CLE was up 30% in Q2 and 66% in the first half of 2025. During this period, the share of electrified vehicles (xEVs) reached 40% in Europe and 21% on a global level.
Overall, the Mercedes-Benz Group sold 547,100 cars and vans (-9%) in Q2 2025, including 93,400 units (-18%) of Vans. During this period, Mercedes-Benz Vans concluded the largest single order of eVans ever with 5,000 electric vans set to be delivered to the Amazon.
