RRS Arrest 18 Year Old While Stealing Newly Installed Road Light Indicators On 3rd Mainland Bridge

RRS arrest 18 year old vandal while stealing the newly installed Road Light indicators on the newly renovated 3MB.
It comes a month after officers of LNSC arrested another vandal while tampering with the newly installed infrastructure on 3MB.
The in-road warning lights are self-illuminating in dim areas or night time, which helps to enhance driver visibility.
Last month, RRS boss deployed bike riders to provide round-the-clock protection for both road users and infrastructures on the 3MB.
Operatives of Lagos Rapid Response Squad (RRS) on Friday June 7th (today) arrested a suspected vandal while removing LED road stud light on the newly renovated Lagos 3rd Mainland Bridge (3MB).
A statement by the Lagos State Government said that “the suspect was caught red-handed by the operatives on patrol of the bridge around 10:00 a.m today.”

“The suspect, Mubarak Abdullahi (18), living in Makoko had, at the time of his arrest, removed 10 of the LED road stud light screwed to the road to enhance the visibility of road users.”
It comes a month after officers of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Corps (LNSC) arrested another vandal on May 8th while tampering with the newly installed infrastructure designed to provide maximum visibility at nights.
It will be recalled that Commander Rapid Response Squad (RRS), CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi, had on May 20th deployed bike riders in the area to provide round-the-clock protection for both road users and infrastructures on the newly renovated 3rd Mainland Bridge.
