Meet The “Halal Porsche”: A Turbo S With Quranic Calligraphy, No Music But Quranic Recitation

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is undoubtedly one of the few places in the world where car enthusiasts customize their bespoke hypercars to make them stand out, just like the “Halal Porsche”—a one-off creation that swaps standard carbon-fiber opulence for profound spiritual devotion.
Autojosh came across this one-of-a-kind, Porsche 911 Turbo S-based masterpiece in a video shared by popular Dubai-based Instagrammer, Ayman Al Yaman, which unsurprisingly has generated 1 million likes and captivated about 8 thousand reactions from viewers.

The “Halal Porsche” was commissioned by Australian businessman Joule Sullivan, who currently resides in Dubai and envisioned the supercar as a creative form of “Da’wah (which literally means “to call” in Islam) on Wheels.”

To create the “Halal Porsche”—a name that literally means “Lawful Porsche”—Sullivan collaborated with the specialized UAE-based customization house Shemagg (Shmagh), whose lead designer, Rayyan Hassan, helped transform the interior of the car.
Inside, the cabin features a palette of emerald green, premium Italian white leather, and genuine Alcantara, while a solid gold engraving reading “Alhamdulillah” (Praise be to Allah (God)) sits centered on the dashboard.

In addition, there is geometric stitching throughout the cabin, while the highlight is the Ayat al-Kursi (Verse of the Throne), intricately digitized and embroidered on the door panels using a rare, ancient Thuluth Arabic font written by a master calligrapher from Damascus.
To maintain a sacred space inside the Halal Porsche, Joule Sullivan told Al Yaman that foul language and all forms of music are strictly banned in the cabin, noting that only Quranic recitation is permitted. Sullivan was able to create this one-of-a-kind car after consulting with religious scholars (Sheikhs).
