The New EV From Jaguar Will Be A Unique Sight On The Road

The British car company owned by the Indian company Tata was among the first to give up on the internal combustion engine, and it seems that they have also given up on traditional customers who will find it difficult to fit into Jaguar’s new philosophy.
Time will tell whether marketing and other experts were right when the decision was made that one of the most famous automobile companies, after 90 years of existence, would stop producing cars powered by internal combustion engines and completely turn to electrification, which, after the initial enthusiasm, many no longer see as an optimal drive solution.
With the disapproval of fans of the old British brand, to enter a new era without internal combustion engines, Jaguar presented a concept edition of the unusual two-door Type 00 to the audience in Miami (USA) at the end of last year, with which their new slogan “copy nothing” really makes sense. With the reminder that tastes are not up for debate, it would not be politically correct to mention/quote comments around the world on the subject of the Type 00 coming from a company whose legendary E-Type is considered one of the most beautiful cars of all time.
And while the world is waiting for the production version of the Type 00 electric model, which will eventually be transformed into a three-volume sedan with four seats that should go on sale next year, with the announced entry into the most expensive league in which Rolls-Royce and Bentley from Coventry have been shining for decades, ambitious statements have arrived that Jaguar’s future profits will be based on a small production of costly and exclusive models that, therefore, will not be a frequent occurrence on the roads.
With the latest analysis showing that engines and performance rank only 13th in today’s car choices for buyers, insiders claim that Jaguar is on the right track. At the same time, many others hope that the famous “wildcat” will not end up like the ill-fated SAAB.
