Amid Cash Scarcity, Lagos Commercial Bus Conductor Offers Payment Through PoS

No cash, no problems – Lagos Commercial Bus Conductor offers payment through PoS amid cash scarcity.
Its one of several transportation payment solutions offered to would-be commuters since the start of cash scarcity.
Amid scarcity of cash, a Lagos yellow Commercial Bus has offered Point of Sale (PoS) system to would-be commuters to allow them use their Credit or Debit cards to make payment for transport fares.
In a video shared, the conductor of the commercial bus was seen holding a PoS machine while calling “Ketu, Ojota, Mile 12, PoS.”
But this video of a conductor offering transportation solutions to would-be commuters isn’t the first we’ve seen since the start of cash scarcity few weeks back.
In another video that trended last week, the conductor of commercial bus pasted a flier at the back of his bus urging would-be commuters to pay with their Lagos ‘Cowry card’.
Some commercial bus conductors even allow bank transfers into their accounts, which they confirm through sms alerts or Bank Apps before would-be commuters are allowed to take a ride.
