Truck Crushes Tricycle
It is high time government of all levels rose up to remedy the road and reckless driving challenge in Nigeria.
Another man has been reportedly crushed to death by a truck in Onitsha. He was confirmed dead and four others seriously injured.
Reports had it that the driver of a Mack Truck with Registration KK837JJJ lost control while in motion along Upper Iweka by old defunct NITEL Onitsha. Hence, he hit pedestrians and equally ran into a tricycle with REG number FGG455XA.
The State Police Command ordered its officers to rescue the injured. The state police command spokesperson, Haruna Mohammed, police operatives attached to CPS Onitsha mobilized to the scene.
They rushed victims to Toronto hospital where the doctor confirmed one person dead on arrival. In the meantime, four others are responding to treatment.

Truck Crushes Tricycle in Onitsha
Haruna said the corpse of the dead victim has been deposited at the mortuary for postmortem examination.
He added that the Truck driver escaped but effort is geared towards arresting him.
