4 Additional Ford Models To Get BlueCruise “Hands-off” Highway Driving Tech From Next Year
Four additional Ford models to get BlueCruise “hands-off, eyes-on” highway driving technology from next year.
From next year, Puma, Puma Gen-E, Kuga and Ranger PHEV will be equipped with the Driver Assistance Pack.
The American brand said more than 1 million BlueCruise-equipped vehicles are on the road globally.
Since its introduction, Ford and Lincoln owners have driven 888 million highway kilometres with BlueCruise.

Ford has announced that its BlueCruise “hands-off, eyes-on” highway driving technology will be launched on four models from next year to allow customers to take a road trip across multiple countries.
From next year, new 2027 model year of Puma, Puma Gen-E, Kuga and Ranger PHEV will be equipped with the Driver Assistance Pack, following its availability first on the Mustang Mach-E in Europe.

Today, more than 1 million BlueCruise-equipped vehicles are on the road globally. Since it was introduced globally, Ford and Lincoln owners have driven more than 888 million highway kilometres (552 million miles) with BlueCruise.
With the BlueCruise, Ford said customers can now embark on a 25 hours hands-free driving from Stockholm (Sweden) to Rome (Italy) – a journey that covers over 2,000 kilometres (1,500 miles).
BlueCruise has now been approved for use across 16 European markets, since its launch in Great Britain in 2023, making it the most widely available system of its kind in Europe.

Ford BlueCruise hands-free highway driving technology to launch on Puma, Puma Gen-E, Kuga and Ranger PHEV in spring 2026.
With its introduction, drivers can now access more than 135,000 kilometres (84,000 miles) of designated highways, called Blue Zones, allowing customers to take a road trip across multiple countries.

“With BlueCruise now available on five vehicle lines in Europe, we’re helping make hands-free highway driving accessible to a wider array of customers”.
