Genesis Unveils GV90 Flagship SUV With Coach Doors, Swiveling Seats, 24-Inch Pop-Up Screen

The all-new 2027 Genesis GV90 has finally made its debut, with the brand’s new flagship premium hauler exuding a commanding presence and aiming squarely at the upcoming Range Rover Electric and the monolithic Cadillac Escalade IQ.
The GV90 will be available in two variants: the standard GV90 with conventional swing doors, and the GV90 Neolun, featuring the Neolun Arch Gate—the world’s first independently opening and closing hidden B-pillar coach doors, which allow a remarkably spacious area for entry and exit.

Built on the eMP platform exclusive to the Genesis flagship, the GV90 exterior exudes a commanding presence, drawing inspiration from the iconic moon jar and achieved through the porcelain vessel’s philosophy of restrained elegance.

Highlights of the exterior include Wing Face Micro Lens Array (MLA) headlamps that span the front fascia and the iconic Genesis Crest Grille at the center, while the flush rear design features ultra-slim, Two-Line LED taillights that span the entire width of the tailgate.
Inside, the pillarless cabin is draped in wool cashmere and features a 23.6-inch, pop-up center OLED Cinematic Display that seamlessly integrates the instrument cluster, navigation, and media.

At the press of the display extension button on the center fascia, this screen raises by 90mm, transforming it into a 24.6-inch display—approximately 1.7 times larger than when retracted—allowing occupants to enjoy a wide variety of multimedia content.
Additionally, the GV90 Neolun introduces motorized swiveling front seats that rotate a full 180 degrees at the simple press of a button on the door trim. Enabled while parked, Genesis says that this face-to-face, lounge-like configuration is ideal for socializing or conducting business.

For safety, the GV90 is equipped with an in-cabin Monitoring System, a reinforced body structure, and a total of 12 airbags—including the world’s first Roof Airbag, which deploys rapidly to cover the entire roof glass during severe rollover events.
Positioned as the brand’s all-electric flagship SUV, this 657-horsepower rolling sanctuary has an estimated range of approximately 500km. A 350-kilowatt fast charger allows the 123.5 kilowatt-hour, large-capacity battery to charge from 10% to 80% in just 22 minutes.

The standard GV90, which offers up to 7 seats in a flexible 3-row configuration, starts around $100,000. This price creeps toward $135,000 to $145,000 for the GV90 Neolun with a 4-seat “Business Class” seating layout. Also available is the Neolun First Edition, a $150,000 highly limited-run variant offered solely to elite clients during the initial launch phase.
“GV90 is not simply a new vehicle, but a new vision for luxury mobility that brings together inspiring design, AI-powered software and connectivity, and industry-leading safety,” said Euisun Chung, Executive Chair of Hyundai Motor Group.
