In the atmosphere of Christmas celebration, a member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Unyime Idems, representing Ukanafun/Orukanam Federal Constituency, has flagged off his constituency empowerment schemes in Akwa Ibom.

Empowerment tools that were distributed included vehicles, motorcycles, generating sets, tailoring machines, hair dressing set and vulcanizing machines.

Akwa Ibom Rep Hon. Idems empowers constituents with dozens of vehicles

During the event, Idems urged the beneficiaries to judiciously make use of the “Empowerment Tools” given to them. He also urged other members of the House of Representatives to be awaken to their responsibilities.

According to news outfit, Abak Weekly News, the massive empowerment scheme is the “first in the history of Ukanafun/OrukAnam Federal Constituency” .
